You were born in the best era in history to live. It’s like Disneyland down here.
Because you were born in this time in human history, you are richer than almost every wealthy person throughout history, even up until about 1969. This includes kings, queens, presidents, prime ministers, dictators, famous entrepreneurs, musicians, authors, actors, painters, nobility, and elites of all kinds.
(This includes the Rockefellers, Carnegies, Mellons, JP Morgan, Rothschilds and the like.)
Before 1969, do you think any of these people had computers, or the internet, or Google, or Podcasts, or modern medicine, or Youtube, or phones, or streaming services, or the wide-variety of modern foods and deserts, or smart phones, or APPS, or air conditioning, or heating, or running water, or hot showers, or all the good books and modern know-how we have, or modern travel, or modern planes, or 24/7/365 grocery stores, or refrigerators, or services that deliver food to their home, or the accumulated knowledge we have, or the Technology advancements we have today, or the Ai advancements we have today, or modern cars and transportation, or modern music, or modern art, or modern clothing?
This is just a small list. We could go on and on.
The wealthiest people throughout most of human history didn’t have ANY of this stuff available to them for their money to buy. But you have them available to you any time you want – even if you’re relatively low income. Most of the stuff we have is even free, or so cheap that even if you’re poor you can afford it – like Google or Podcasts or Youtube or Netflix or Hulu and more.
Because you are born in this time in history you have so much available to you that is completely free, or to buy for so cheap, that you are richer than most people throughout history – no matter how rich or elite they were – simply because they didn’t have any of these things to buy with their money that would have made their lives so much more easy, fun, interesting, enjoyable, and pleasurable.
If you are a billionaire but you live on an Island by yourself and there is nothing for you to buy with those billions, your money is worthless. Simply because you have nothing to buy with it. Having a lot of money is only valuable if there are products and services for you to buy with that money.
It goes back to the old saying: You don’t want money, you want the things your money can buy.
Your money is worthless even if you’re a billionaire if you don’t have anything to buy with that money that makes your life easy, fun, interesting, and enjoyable. Billionaires in the 1950s didn’t have a small fraction of the things we can buy today for almost nothing that makes are lives so much easier and more fun..
This is another reason to be grateful and just another thing to be grateful for in our lives. You are staying present to the good things you do have in your life.
I’m so grateful to be living in this era and time in history – and it was completely free gift to you. You didn’t have to pay for it or do anything for it. A complete gift from the universe.
